Yeah, I'm at Fort Hood... lol. I know a couple of people in passing, but I haven't made any close friends. I've got a couple in Austin, though, which is about an hour away... and when he's gone I'm probably going to move up to Fort Worth where I have a bunch of friends. Room with a girlfriend of mine whose lifestyle is very similar to mine. It won't be too bad as far as living conditions go. But I'm just not looking forward to it.

This WILL be our last deployment, though... either he'll switch to a job or location that doesn't deploy, or he'll run out his contract, which would be done shortly after he returns. I won't go through this more than twice... and I did it once already.
