Buffy, Mom is on to you!

Lately she has been dumping her food bowl and eating it from the floor. Mess... So Mom pulled out the untippable bowl which she dislikes because it is so big. Mom smiles as Buffy eats and makes no mess!!! Buffy, you have a new bowl...

hahaha....we are about ready to go find square bowls and drill holes in them to BOLT the dishes to the wall...Taz and Mysti have taken to either dumping then HIDING in the straw bedding....or nosing the bedding up into the dish and shoving them under the potting bench/cabinet on their porch...

If we bolt them to the wall at a comortable eating height for them....they cannot do either one

silly what they will do sometimes....

My mom's doxie used to grab a mouthful of kibble at a time and go under the dining room table to eat it one piece at a time, then back for more, and do this until the dish was empty....

Tambrey, that's funny. When we first got Buffy, she ate so fast...and I assume it's because she may have had competition at her breeder's. After a while, she did start taking a mouthful and dropping it on the floor to eat, and go back for more. Just lately, she has started dumping the dish, spreading it all over, and taking forever to eat. I make sure there is no competition between the dogs at meal time. They are fed apart from each other, and I can control the portions.

Maybe that means she knows her dinner is hers, and hers only...and she will take her own sweet basset hound time...
