If anyone could help that would be great

Post by liltinkgirl »

How would I know if my cat has a fractured skull ?????? I don't know if this sounds crazy. but his behavior has changed significantly, his head is real hot and I was petting his head today and if felt a line going from is eyebrow region back to a little be past his ears. I never felt it before. It's not tumor-like either..

He is about 6 years old and is somewhat overweight. He is not an outside cat, but sometimes will sit with me on the patio, but only in 10 min (if that) time span always in my eyesite. Pretty much eats the grass. He is eating, drinking, eating snacks, following me around , but constantly laying down, and it looks like his eyes are glassy and kind of droopy. I dont know about the bathroom situation.. i have two cats so it's hard to tell. It's not the heat I have central air. He is really not himself. Before I take him to the Vet I just wanted maybe to get some opinions.

We can't diagnose here online but in my opinion, dramatic change in behavior, hot head, glassy eyes and lethargy warrants a vet visit IMMEDIATELY. Please do not hesitate and get him into your right TODAY.

I concur, a vet visit IMMEDIATELY. I can't make heads or tails of your description, and only your VET can examine your kitty thoroughly, do bloodwork if necessary, and/or xrays if necessary. Don't wait on this one minute longer, get kitty to your vet RIGHT NOW (TODAY!)
