Dylan the stalker
Dylan the stalker
DD and SIL-to-be stayed the night last night and brought their two dogs. The Boston Terrorist, who thankfully has calmed down at bit now that he's almost 6 years old, and their ???lab/hound mix. Dylan was thrilled. Both of them were willling to play when the two girls here won't
Look out, I'm going to pounce!
I mean it, I will get you!
Play time!
All tuckered out - playing is hard work
Allie couldn't care less - this playing stuff is for the youngsters.

Re: Dylan the stalker
Especially the 3rd pic Dylan looks like such a little peanut. So cute!
Re: Dylan the stalker
I saw the first pic, and thought....my he sure has grown FAST....but then, as Traci said....seeing him next to the others, you can tell how tiny he still is!!!!
Re: Dylan the stalker
He weighed 4 lbs 0.6 oz when I got him. He has grown - I can really see that he's gotten taller, but he's still a little guy. He doesn't think so though!

Darling pictures! Thanks Karen. I especially like the 2nd one, where Dylan is peeking around the door. BTW, the mix is also a very nice looking dog - what is his name? It's so good that the puppy gets some play time with other dogs - great for his development as a people dog too (wish I'd understood that better last time I raised a pup!)
Re: Dylan the stalker
They named their mutt 'Fuzzy' - I think because he was shedding like crazy when they got him and the house was full of fuzz. He was a stray that kept coming to the house. As best they could tell, he had no home - no collar and they always saw him loose outside. They watched him for several days and finally took him in. DD posted flyers on the street and in nearby stores. She also contact animal control, the SPCA, and the Humane Society to see if anyone had reported a dog with his description as missing. She had him checked to see if he was microchipped (he wasn't). That was 3 years ago and he is now a member of their family. He's probably about 8-10 years old now and is a very friendly and sweet dog. It amazed me how gentle he was when playing with Dylan. I love his smile - it's very obvious in the Picture with Dylan peeking aroung the corner. He let Dylan chase him around the house and when they were 'wrestling' he would lie down (shown in the picture) and let Dylan have fun jumping and lunging. Never once was there any sign that he was annoyed or might hurt him. Dylan had a blast and was totally worn out after they left.
