yah, except you should see her belly
her "mammary glands" look like they're getting ready for about 7 kittens, if you know what I mean! i hope it's just a little flab b/c she doesn't have much room to run around in our apartment?
Do you mean her belly drops toward the floor? If so, you might want to get an exam for her soon to make certain she's not developing excess weight. She looks great in the pic, but I assume this was recent.
Did you know there's a feline weight chart on my site? You can go here for a graphic to help determine if she may be slightly overweight:

thanks traci, i've seen that before but just looked over it again - she's definitely not in the #7 ("heavy") category but she does have a flabby belly and her belly looks a little rounder than the "ideal" picture from the top view.
she gained a lot of weight all at once around the time when she started to trust us - maybe a pound in 2 or 3 weeks! - although we had been feeding her the same amount the whole time. we figured she had relaxed significantly and wasn't as nervous anymore, maybe that slowed her metabolism. and she seems to have stopped gaining weight now. the first time we took her in to the vet (to get her last FVRCP) she weighed about 5lb 4 oz, and the next time (three weeks later, for ringworm which they didn't catch the first time), she weighed almost 6.5 pounds! I'm guessing she weighs about 7 pounds now but don't have a scale here.

Ok, she's probably in the ideal range. But, if your apartment is small and she doesn't get alot of exercise, you might consider more interactive toys for her, playing more when you're home.
I just found the cutest thing for Cotton, it's a bungie mouse that chirps like a bird when it is touched. It has a long string, and a clip that just hangs over the top of a door, I figured Cotton would be the least interested in it, but to my surprise, he's the one hogging it all the time. (and the exercise he gets from it is great). Every time I turn around, I hear this mouse 'chirping', it took me three days to figure out it was that darned toy!

She's such a pretty girl ! Mine aren't allowed feathery things and such either, unless I'm thereHope you can get a good exercise plan for her...My two have their own, LOL! And with the messes they make, I sometimes think it's their plan for me, LOL!
Kitty kisses,
Debbie

hey, she already thinks she's gorgeous, don't let it go to her head!
her "exercise plan" consists of running back and forth through the apartment after mice and rolled-up balls of scrap fabric and foam balls at precisely 11:00 PM every night ... when I read someone's post recently about their cat fetching the balls for them, I laughed out loud b/c in Kobi's case, she's got *me* well trained to fetch!
