Prayers for Amber's dog, Toby

Post by DeVon »

Toby is at the vet's this morning to have a lump removed from his groin area. He is Amber's heart dog and was a rescue off of doggy death row back in September of 1998. He'll be home this afternoon. We're a nervous wreck here. Thanks!

Prayers for Toby; I hope he'll be feeling better soon and that the mass is benign. My family had a couple of dogs named Toby too. (((HUGS)))
Kitty kisses,
Debbie

Didn't Toby have this a year or so ago, or was it never removed at that time?

My prayers go out for Toby and you, hopefully nothing serious....((((HUGS))))

Prayers for all to go well with Toby. I know how anxious you can get... Update us when you can.

The little man is home, very groggy, and Amber had to go back to the vet's for a soft collar to keep him from licking already! He even got a shot of Tramadol before he came home and STILL wants to lick it.

Traci, yes Amber had it looked at a year ago, and did not budget her money properly, which is a diatribe I don't wish to launch into. Suffice it to say I've chewed her up and down and left and right for that :x

The good news it was just a lipoma!!!!!!!!!

What wonderful news, DeVon, woo-hoo!! \:D/

You said he was groggy though, so keep a watchful eye on him, make sure he has completely come out of anesthesia, notify your vet at once if the grogginess lasts for nore than 6 hours.

Thanks Traci :)

He's gotten up and followed me around a few times already, tail wagging. He's napping with Amber right now (she's got 6 o'clock shift tonight).

YAY! Glad the news is good for Toby. I hope he'll feel better very soon and not give you anymore cause for concern any time soon!
Kitty kisses,
Debbie
