Female cat peeing??

Post by Rejects_Angel »

I have a female cat named Tigger and she is 6 months old. I've had her since birth and she uses the litter box but just recently started peeing on my treadmill, box spring (for my bed) and the rugs. I'm confused as to why but also how I can make it stop and get rid of the smell. My mother is furious and wants to get rid of the cat if I can't get her to stop.

Any suggestions please? I don't want to get rid of my cat

Is your cat up to date on vet visits & vaccines? Is she spayed? If not, she could be in heat.

She could also have an urinary infection. Have you had her at the vet?

Any time I cat is not using the litter box it is necessary to have them checked for health issues ASAP....improper litter box use is often health related, so have her checked now. Urinary issues are not something that can wait.....as far as cleaning, it has to be with an enzymatic cleaner. Use to be Nature's Miracle but I can't recall what it is named now..I think Petastic or something?
