Silly Munkie

Post by Tambrey »

Hubby and I are both nursing Strep Throat...NOT fun :( Hubby has been in his recliner most of the last 3 days, (I am just starting my bout with it)

Anyways, he will blow his nose and put the Kleenex in the bag beside him on the table....
Well, any time he sets a kleenex down, Munkie runs over, grabs it and starts off towards the kitchen with it....now if we could only teach him to throw it in the garbage!!
And Munkie now knows that when he hears the nose blowing sound, there will soon be a Kleenex to grab and run off with!
He does not play with it...or hide it...he just carries it around the house...

and we have a container of Lysol wipes on the dining room table!!!

That is too funny...gross, but funny  Reminds me of something our cat Cricket, who now resides with my daughter use to do. If we didn't keep the bathroom door shut she would get into the garbage pail and pull out used q-tips and carry them off through the house. We'd find q-tips everywhere. Finally had to start keeping the door shut to keep her out of the bathroom garbage...weird cats!

Oh...and hope you both feel better soon. Strep throat isn't fun at all from what I understand. *touch wood* I haven't had it in my adult life...

I have two Munkies. Doesn't have to be just kleenex though, it's anything and everything.

Cinnamae found some (individually packaged) crackers in a cupboard the other day and dragged them to the floor and took off with them. I don't know what she intended to do with them, but she proved she could do it, anyway.

WOW, I must be lucky because not ONE of my cats do that. With the allergies I have, there's plenty of tissue around but still, no one runs off with anything. Which actually makes me worry that instead of doing cat things, they are off plotting against me and for world domination!

Tambrey- that picture is so funny. We had a cat that loved little pom-poms...to fetch and to carry them around. Cats are so smart. You must teach Munkie to spit the cleenex into a waste basket

Hope hubby is soon better and that you and son don't catch it.

Thanks mompaws.....actually, we are ALL sick....son and mom went to doctor today....URIs for both...hubby was not better by Monday so went back and we are awaiting results of a Mono test....
I am still coughing up a lung and my ribs hurt so badly, and NOW I hear that oh yeah, be careful, this URI turns into pneumonia real fast....just what I need...NOT....BTDT and I do NOT want it again!
So I will probably be in again soon to get checked and a shot if necessary...

And if my house were not such a MESS from being so sick, I would get a video of Munkie carrying one through the house...he looks so proud of himself when he trots off with one :)
