Raven, Then & Now
Re: Raven, Then & Now
What a georgeous cat!
Re: Raven, Then & Now
She's beautiful!! I am so glad she was okay. I sent you a pm, just realized that you had sent me one a bit late. I never thought to check them before.
Re: Raven, Then & Now
JD, thanks so much for posting a followup on Raven, I'm going to guess, you're keeping her!
I assume she indeed had a fractured pelvis or another fracture, so just want to caution you to be keenly aware to watch for signs of problems. Such problems could include suceptibility to urinary tract infection or blockage or slight incontinence, (due to scar tissue and previous pelvic injury), degenerative joint disease or early onset of arthritis. Any of them could develop early on, or later in age. Please talk to your vet about xrays every year or so to keep an eye on this. Not saying these things will indeed occur, just saying they are possible due to that type of trauma.
She is adorable and precious, and grew into a beautiful little girl. Thank you for taking such good care of her and giving her a wonderful home!

She looks so scared in the kitten picture, and so regal and content in the others. You've obviously done a wonderful job with her. She's a beauty!
