Thanks for the congrats! No, not vet checked YET. First thing after Christmas though!! He is a sweetheart and our other cats are coming around slow but sure. ha ha ha!! Merry Christmas!

If you don't know his history, it's best to keep him seperated from the other cats until your vet has examined him, dewormed, and tested for FELV/FIV. I'm assuming your other cats are current on their vaccinations?

Yea I know they need and are seperated, albeit a few growls and hisses behind closed doors from our previous youngest one And yes the other 4 are all current on vacs/

Just a quick story, we have a 4 year old purebred Himalayan in the shelter who we just found out has gingivitis. A wonderul lady came in and fell in love w/ her, went home and called her vet for prices on dental work. She already made the appt. w/vet even before she adopts the cat! She called yesterday to say she would be in Friday to adopt, made my whole holiday
