cat has bumps growing quickly all over her body

a few days ago my cat started growing bumps all over her body. It started with one on his head and they grow bigger every day. The vet removed two to take a biopsy but she's getting weaker and the bumps are growing more each day. What could this be?

were they sent to pathology for testing and when will the results be back?

The vet had never seen it before. I am not sure if it got sent to pathology but i should have results tomorrow. The only things I can think of that would cause an allergic reaction are that I had some eucalytpus in the house that they got into, so I removed it, and I changed the litter to those crystals. I changed the litter back, but she is still getting worse. She is very sensitive and doesn't want to be touched.

Does she ever go outside?

Any other plants?

Any other chemicals she could get into?

Have you treated for fleas lately?

Do you have a dog that you have treated for fleas lately?

Think...anything...anything at all that could have changed lately....no matter how slight you might think it is....did it happen about the time these bumps started?

I am going to bed, but will be here tomorrow, and Traci might still be on tonight...she is our admin and vet tech....

sometimes she sneaks outside and comes back and there are no other plants that i can think of that she can eat. no fleas and no dogs. i have another cat (morris) that isn't experiencing any physical symptoms. she would hide once i brought back my sick cat (hazel) back from the vet...now a couple of days later, they are both hiding under the bed which is atypical behavior for both of them. morris is also not eating as much as she normally does.

How old is she and is she spayed?

Where are the "lumps" located exactly? How big are they, and are they subcutaneous only? (i.e, under the skin) Exactly what tests has your vet done? Full blood profile? CBC? If he hasn't seen this before, you should get kitty to a more experienced vet immediately (TODAY). Call the current vet back today and ask him to expedite the results, because generally, labs don't work on Saturdays, weekends, holidays.

Eucalyptus is toxic to cats, and although if she ingested it, it would probably affect her kidneys, liver function, GI tract etc, but if she rubbed up against a plant, this could certainly cause skin problems.

Lumps and getting weaker are too vague in this post, what exactly is your vet telling you? Again, if he isn't experienced, see a NEW vet TODAY.
