Please tell me you can see them now!

Post by k9Karen »

Put them out on seemesmile.com - hope this works. If not, someone please help me figure out why some people can see them and some can't! (For those who have already seen them, this is a repost)

Thanks and thank goodness. Let's just hope others can see them too!

Karen, webshots doesn't allow remote imaging (posting your photo on other sites from their server)....to find out about remote imaging, most photo services state that in their TOS. Another way to find out, as you did, you saw your pictures temporarily, then you saw the white boxes with a red x....that's a clear sign remote imaging isn't allowed.

Seemesmile does allow it, but from what I've heard, they are not always up, in other words, probably due to so much server traffic. For now, your pics are coming through fine.

Yesterday I could only see them with Netscape... the Great and Powerful 'Puter Diety seems to be smiling on us at the moment!

Very enjoyable pics of the doggies! Thanks for sticking with it. Are you using digital now, or scanner?

These are digital. Having "fun" playing with my camera - bought it a while back, but never had the time to figure it out. Allie is about fed up with me, as you can see from her expression in this one:

Thanks Traci - if I use webshots again, I'll just paste it as a URL instead of an IMG. I'm afraid that when it comes to computers, I know just enough to be dangerous! I looked at the TOS on WebShots, but it's hard to wrangle through all the stuff - just didn't "get it". Hopefully my trials and tribulations will keep someone else from making the same stupid mistake!

Thanks guys. Now that I have the hang of this "picture thing" I guess you'll all get to see more of my critters. Right now, I wish I could get a picture for you to see, but they're too far apart. All three are sound asleep around my chair - if I move, at least one will wake up and spoil the shot. I think they have the right idea - it's bedtime!
