WHEW!!!....

Pyrometria (sp?)...all contained....came through surgery fine and will be coming home with antibiotics....

Cuddles came to us as an older cat and never showed signs of heat, so we (wrongly) assumed that she had been spayed somewhere along the way, because there was a slight scar on her belly....BUT....we were wrong....so now she IS spayed and on the road to recovery.....

I just remembered...the vet said she had some bad looking teeth as well...I wonder if he took them also or if they were able to be cleaned...
I just called and the vet is busy, but the girl will ask about the teeth....I am going to think that he did since he mentioned them, but I told her if he did not, to go ahead and do it before she wakes up from her loopiness!!

We will be able to bring her home and settle her into the bathroom this evening!!

Thank you!

I was looking it up....

"drinking an excess amoutn of water"
OMG...she was constantly at the water dish the last few days and if it was empty she was sure to let me know....

I am just glad he was able to remove it without rupture...

I just called the clinic again....they did take 3 teeth when she was under, so that is good....

Since I work until 8:45 tonight and hubby will not be home this evening, we decided we are going to leave her overnight to recover and fully awaken there....

Tambrey...I am so glad you took Cuddles in and they were able to operate in time. Give her some gentle cuddles from me when she comes home.

I stopped and visited with Cuddles before work this morning...she was napping in the litterbox  she has a comfy towel and a rubber mat thingy to lay on....and she chooses the litterbox!

she was loving being scratched along her back and under her chin and will be happy to come home this afternoon....
