Cuddles is doing good...no more discharge...getting around alot better and looking for luvvin' rather than off by herself...so I know she is feeling better...
now to make an appointment to get those suspicious lumps checked out....will try for that next week as she is not done with antibiotics yet...

An ultrasound might be more helpful than anything, as opposed to radical surgery. Mind you, some things are still hidden on ultrasound, but it's worth a try. Not knowing for certain if she's spayed or not, those lumps could be associated with reproductive neoplasia, let's hope not! but it need to be ruled out. Also rule out potential lymph node involvement, such as infection, but need to rule out lymph node reaction, mammary/uterine neoplasia, etc. Not trying to scare you, but sure wish you knew for certain if she's spayed, the ultrasound would come in handy for determining that.

yes...when Sammie goes to the hospital tomorrow for bloodwork, I am going to have hubby see about getting her set up there...and do surgery as last resort

I will do....it probably won't be until next week sometime...and depends on the hospital schedule as well...but I want to find out what is going on in there for sure....

Cuddles will be going in for surgery tomorrow....the tumors are getting larger suddenly...almost overnight they popped out, whereas even last week, they could barely be felt even...

please pray that the tumor/growth whatever will be easily removed and not cancerous....

I will post more when I know...but of course, I work alone ALL day tomorrow, 9:30am until 8:45pm...and cannot ask anyone else to replace me...

I will take Cuddles in before I go to work, and hopefully, like I did when I took Gypsy in a few weeks ago for her teeth, I will hold her as she goes to sleep....
Then....IF he gets in there and finds it is too much...or..whatever...I will not ask him to try to save her...I will just have him let her go peacefully and she will never know because she will already be asleep for surgery....

Okay...I was fine when I started typing...now I am crying....

Oh Tambrey, I'm praying this is nothing serious, but I still wonder, why has no ultrasound been done FIRST? What about a needle-biopsy? Have you sought a second opinion before surgery?

I have not gone for a second opinion...unfortunately, vets are limited in our area...

If they are suddenly growing this fast, would it not be better to just go in and find out...becuase they...it...whatever...will just keep growing anyways...
then they can send the entire growth in for a biopsy....?

Our funds have been stretched to the limit as well...the vet is letting us make payments....we have nothing we could even sell right now...and do not have a credit rating good enough to even get a credit card...
And with Gypsy just having had her surgery, we still have a bill from that one...

Oh I wish I just had all the funds I needed when I needed it to take care of wahtever comes up...but if you even saw our negative checking account right now...we cannot go for a second opinion anywhere else...because they would not know us and want the money up front...

Oh Tambrey... we know you love your animals and go above and beyond for them. Just give Cuddles all the love you can and we'll be praying for the best.
