Anyway, highrise syndrome in cats is a very real problem, and occurs more than this story is mentioning. Cats do NOT always land on their feet, and it does NOT matter how many stories of a building, the risk of internal injuries, fractures and even death are real and occur very often. Fractured limbs/ribs/mandibles are the most common, combined with internal bleeding and brain injuries.
