I woke up this morning at 6:00 and couldn't go back to sleep so I got to thinking about Kujo and the things I loved about him. I was remembering the strangest friend he ever made. When we lived in town we had a small yard and I was very faithful with taking the dogs out daily. We would walk to a field on the outskirts of town and I would let them run.
One summer Kuj developed a "friendship" with a raven. Within minutes of releasing him in the field the bird would come out to play. Kuj would chase him around the field until he got bored and would find something else to check out. As soon as he lost interest the raven would swoop in low over his head giving Kujo the illusion that maybe he could catch the bird and away they would go again. They would do this for about fifteen minutes until the raven had enough and then he would go back to wherever he came from and Kuj would continue exploring the field. They did this almost every day all summer and it was so interesting to watch.
