Hi everyone!! I haven't posted here in quite awhile but have decided to rejoin. My name is Eileen and I share my home with hubby and three cats.
Traci, you have SUCH a good memory (and thanks for sending the message to Mou in regards to getting in here!!). I can't believe you remember Nike. I DO remember all the good advice you gave me when she first started having seizures.
She is doing very well and is now six years old. She had been seizure free for almost three years ....but on two pheno tabs a day. So, my vet and I decided to try and slowly taper her down to one a day. I did it over three weeks but shortly after she was on one a day, she had a seizure!!! God, I felt so bad and guilty. So she's back on two and has been fine so guess we will have to stay there.
I lost my dear black cat Reggie almost two years ago to cancer. I still miss her.
I have Max, he will be four years old soon and is a lover. He is a Maine Coon/Turkish Angora mix. My sister has his two brothers, Fergus and Caeser. Sometimes when my sister goes out of town the boyz come over here to stay and have a grand time with Max.
Last month I adopted a six month old orange boy from a local rescue group. He had already been neutered, had all his shots, dewormed and tested for all the feline disease. We named him Sidney and he is QUITE the character!! He's fitting in very well with the family.
So I'm glad to be here and hope to be posting more and getting to know you all. How do you get into the other forums that won't let me in??
