peeing all over

I've had my cat for about a year now, and she's about a year and a half. When I got her she was litter trained, so I didn't have to worry about training her. About 2 1/2 months ago she started to pee outside her box. It started just once in a while, but now it's all of the time, and all over the place. My bed, my hamper, my floor, and I don't know what to do. She still uses her box, so I don't know what the real problem is. Is she trying to tell me something?

Most sudden and inappropriate urination issues are health related (i.e., urinary tract infection, blockage, or something else entirely)...please get her to your vet quickly for a complete exam and urinalysis to rule these out. Don't wait on this, make an appointment first thing in the a.m.
