Davet, what type of food are you currently feeding her and how often.

How old is she ?

What breed is she?

And has she been to see the Vet for her not wanting to eat?
Almost 7 years in remission from Graves disease and no meds!

Gotta say I have a basic mistrust of all canned foods now...maybe I shouldn't but I do. I have never heard of Wegmand's, so it may be regional. My suggestion might be to try Blue Buffalo's fish formula, available at PetsMart. It does smell like fish. Milk bones are all grains, so the attraction may just be the fact that it is a treat. Some treats can be fed as a meal, but you would have to check the box to see if that is recommended.

wegmans is the large grocery store chain, at least here in the east and they are the only ones I know that abssolutly pull the suspected cans off their shelves as soon as notices are sent out...I think all the canned foods are made by one or two outfits then canned with specif lables...

I m in a big discussion elsewhere on grocery store foods and exotic brands ..I always reccomended groceery store foods to my clients and really never had a problem nutrition wise..my problem now is not nutrition but my dogs desire for a certain taste...Might hit pestmart tomorrow to see if milk bones does have a kibble....thanis

LOL...pestmart...misprint or intentional?

I know there isn't a Milk Bones kibble, and I can't imagine what the attraction is, other than the fact that treats are given as something special, as opposed to being a meal.

problem solved: a teaspoon of bacon grease changed her whiole out look on life..I had told clients for years to add a little bacon grease to their dogs food to get a better coat....Now, at least for now, Sassy will be getting that teaspoon of bacon greese with her food.....probably last a week then something else will have to be added....

Iams dog biscuits, Davet, lamb and rice formula.

And you knew I would say this, but please please please do not feed bacon grease to Sassy, you do not want to give her added fat in the diet, and this is the worst kind of fat. Also, I know you don't agree, but bacon grease could very well induce pancreatitis or bowel problems.
