could my cat have eaten my wedding rings?
could my cat have eaten my wedding rings?
My wedding rings turned up missing in my apartment. Could my kitten have hidden them or eaten them? I know they were there when I went to sleep and were gone when I got up. HELP!
Re: could my cat have eaten my wedding rings?
absolutly, check the BM's or get an X-ray----x-ray is better....
Re: could my cat have eaten my wedding rings?
Yep, an x-ray will show them clear. Depending on the style of your rings, you'll may be able to expect kitty to pass them, but I wouldn't take any risks, get your kitty to ER vet immediately for an x-ray, your vet can then determine if they will pass or will require surgical removal (if they are tearing stomach or intestinal walls, or causing a blockage)

My kitty ate my ring!!!
My bad boy Chauncey ate my pinky ring, which was just plain. I took him for xrays, but it was small enough that he simply pooped it out. And he was fine...I had been putting my rings up high at night where he had never jumped up to, and one night he figured out how. So now I put them in a jar with a sealed lid at night. It was quite an adventure!!!
