One to start off with (I've probably posted it before): My Texas cat Pinto (El Gato Pintado) and Q the Cat from the Continuum - he survived nearly a month in the upstairs of my flooded Lakeview New Orleans house... Both now reside in my Austin apartment... family visits every day to keep them company.

Doone. Son and I got him the week before the evacuation - he was to be a companion for GSD Winnie. Doone is now my son's dog, but lives across the street with son's ladyfriend and her sweet little "Speagle" (spaniel/beagle mix) named Elvis. The two puppers are great friends and have the best of everything... although sometimes Doone thinks he would like to a N'Awlins street dog again LOL. I will try to get pics of both of them while I am here.
