Benson and Stabler was a cute suggestion!

I saw Lucy & Desi on K9Karen's list but what about Lucy & Ricky?

When I rescued Gwen and her 4 kittens, I named them after soap opera characters from As The World Turns. Funny thing is at the time, there wasn't a Gwen but I liked the name and now I don't even watch the show!

How about Simba & Nala (from The Lion King)

Or after the mother and father, Mufasa & Sirabi.

LOL I got home tonight and my boyfriend is calling them Billy and Mandy ... and he's excited because if we get a dog (his dream) once we move in the fall he can name him Grimm....
LOL I don't think those names are going to stick.... we'll see

LOVED Ladyhawke! Didn't remember the names though.

oh I have seen that movie so many times....it is like the ultimate love story...I cry every time I watch it...

I would love to have a tattoo of a wolf and hawk blended together somehow...along the lines of Boris Vallejo style...I can imagine it in my mind...but it will never happen because I could not find anyone to do something of that caliber work...except Boris, and I cannot afford to commission HIM to draw me something!!

You know, Smokey and Bandit definitely fit -

Smokey (for the gray one) and Bandit (with the face mask). I wanted to name Mickey 'Bandit', but the family didn't like it. Sheltie pups often have a wolf-like 'mask' on there faces that isn't as obvious after the adult fur comes in. His 'mask' was very pronounced (and adorable). It did fade into the background, so the name based on that wouldn't have made much sense later. He was my shoe and sock bandit though - so the name would have fit him.

I liked smokey and the bandit too... and she really is a bit of a bandit... absconding with things left and right! but he said that is better for 2 boys... not a boy and a girl....
so we are trying out the billy and mandy (his 5 year old suggested it) and we'll see :) ...
we tossed around about 20 pairs last night calling them by the names, and some they went HIGHTAILING it to the other room ... it was quite funny! :)

I had a female cat named Frodo...

Frodo and Bilbo...LOL (one of my favorite stories!)

They are adorable and you will know the right names when the come to you...

I have a Willow named from the movie Willow...Mad Martigan would go with that!
