an elderly lady {{{Jean}}} that I bowl with had to let her beloved Rachel cross over the Bridge...Rachel was in the final stages of kidney failure...NOT due to foods...she had been going downhill for some time and the woman was moving to an assisted living apartment, and could take her 2 cats with her...but she felt that with Rachel's advanced stages and then having the stress of packing to move was too much...the day before she actually moved she let her go...

This is not Rachel....but looks sort of like her...Rachel was gorgeous...she was a true blue point Siamese...long and slinky and beautifully coloured...rescued from a shelter in Tennessee almost 12 years ago...
