So yhere's my question: why are adrenaL gland carcinomas so bad? I don't think any kind is good, but our vet seemed to think this one was really bad.

the adrenal glands are allomost the master glands secondary to the pituitary gland in the brain..it controls many of the body functions and when it goes bad lots of other parts of the system go bad also.....they are like the conductor of a big orchestra...the conductor goes werong and the orchestra follows all the wrong thingws..a. but sometimes they revert back to normal burtt very rarely7....will send the artices to you...

Mary, I haven't been here for a long time, too. It is so sad to hear about Mr. Blue. My heart goes out to you. You will shower him with love and give him a reason to stay well much longer than predicted.
