Wow what a joyful and tearful trip to the past

I just went back last night and was reading some posts on here from the past (way past!)...what a trip back in time. Have any of you ever done that? My reasoning behind it was I couldn't remember exactly when we adopted Willow so I wanted to see if I had made a post about it...guess not or it was at the old board before this one opened. I did find a post that said she had came along "last summer" so now I know we adopted her in 2002...where does time go?

My furbabies are all growing older...Gizmo will be 15 this year. My grandkitten Khanada is almost 6...that's about how old we think Willow is. Cricket would be about 4 or 5...sheesh...

All the posts about kittens made me miss fostering kittens...*sigh*

The posts about Frodo made me either smile or cry...the pain is getting a little easier, but I still can't stand seeing her bed empty. I haven't had the heart to move it to a spot where Willow will use it, I just can't yet. I miss her fuzzy little head and having her greet me upon waking...waiting impatiently for her breakfast..... Mornings are the hardest I think. That is when she spent the most time with me.

I've done so a few times, although I try not to. Some good memories, some very bittersweet memories. What a journey, huh?

I can relate about the belongings. Take your time and don't rush anything. There's been times when I wouldn't disturb anything for months, I couldn't see any reason to do so.
