Oh Marty! I am weeping for you... and having this occur on the day of the important milestone for your family is just so awful.

I have been thinking of my Winnie so much lately - while driving around especially, about how she loved to ride and didn't get to at all in the last few weeks of her life...

So instead I will think of what fine dogs you and I had... and picture the beautiful two of them meeting at the Bridge - Winsome Dixie and `Eowyn of Colmar - recognizing each other immediately because their humans are friends... they will meet up with all the other creatures we've loved, romp together like puppies and then rest in the shade awhile, all of them completely happy and at ease because they know now it will be only a few moments in Celestial time before their people join them...
