This is What I Will Be Doing...and Pictures As Munkie Grows
Re: This is What I Will Be Doing...and Pictures As Munkie Gr
I always provide a stuffed animal for my little ones, and those barely beyond newborn. It's not perfect but darn close to replicating softness, comfort, warmth (btw, I have yet to invest in a snuggle-kitty!). When Cere was in her incubator at 2 weeks of age, she would not go to sleep or settle down unless her stuffed animal was there with her. It wasn't until months later, she finally gave it up. Cassidy still loves her stuffed animals

This is one of my previous fosters. Despite having lots of feline friends to play with and curl up with, he always went back to Eeyore when it was nursing time! I had to go out and buy him another stuffed animal with a similar feel that could go with him when he got adopted. So Bleach went home with a pink elephant, and Eeyore finally got a bath!

cute!!!!....and I love Eeyore!!...I don't blame you for not sending him along

Munkie is teething again...chewing on everything! he especially likes my shirts...but I have discovered that when he is relaxed and not all antsy, I can take my pinkie finger and rub it across the space on his gums where he is teething he will just lay in my lap with his head tilted back and his eyes closed...

He has grown a bit I see. How about a December pic with his Woobie, providing it still exists.

oh I can probably manage that, and yes, he definitely still has his baby...
Munkie is so funny...at night he will be playing or napping or whatever, but when I turn out lights and head out of the living room...we keep the French Doors closed, he will come running to the doors to be let out to go up to bed...he will turn and look at me with droopy eyes and then slowly drag himself up the stairs like he is ohhh sooo tired and go flop into his bed in the bathroom...and when I turn on the water in the bathtub to warm his bottles, he jumps up on the ledge to watch me fill them...

So are you keeping him? Or is he eventually going up for adoption...? If he does, you're certainly going to have a lot to explain to the new parents! "Well, Master Munkie requires private sleeping accomodations. His water bottles must be filled to precisely 17psi with water that is 99 degrees. He dines at 7 sharp on a gourmet kibble served on sterling silver. And he demands that his personal body guard be available to him at all times, especially while sleeping."
Kind of like how it went when I explained to Bleach's new parents that the pink elephant had to go with him so he could nurse on it...

yes...I think he is one that is here to stay I don't think I could give him up...but I believe that "Master Munkie" real name Munkustrap, will always require his hot water bottles and baby to sleep with...
hubby and I saw a really cute bed that we considered getting him the other night...and just lastnight, hubby wondered out loud I thought we could move his makeshift bed out from under the shelf and set it up at the heat vent in the bathroom, because he said sometimes he comes in there, especially when the furnace is running, and Munkie will be curled up on the bathroom scale there by the heat vent...
however, I think it would block walking into the bathroom, which is VERY small to begin with, and we would be forever tripping or stepping over his bed if we put it there...and also the door might not close...
So I guess we are forever going to have to fill soda bottles wiht hot water and roll them into his towel...I may have to get a few more of the same kind of towel and just sew some pockets into the sides to slide bottles into...
What we do for our furbabies...
