Crazy Rottweiler Myth

My sisters friend is quite horrified that my sister would let her kids near my rottie cross. Her firm belief is that rottweilers brains never stop growing and so as they get older they start to go crazy from the pressure. I don't believe this, but just thought I would see what you guys know about this.

I have heard this so many times...rotts...pit bulls...dalmations...

If I remember right, I do believe that there are only a certain number of brain cells that a creature is born with, and the brain does not create more as it develops...and when they die off...no more are created...so how can a brain just keep growing indefinitely until it puts pressure...unless there is a tumor or some other medical reason for that?
