Anybody else this stupid?

There I was sitting on the couch grading papers. Pat walks up on the coffee table and starts playing with something he knows he's not supposed to. I reached down for my handy squirt bottle that I keep next to the couch for just such an occassion. Pat, of course, is much faster than I am and makes it halfway across the room before I get my hand to it. So I pick up the water bottle, aim, and squeeze. The only problem with this is that I had been doing some cleaning earlier and had picked up and moved the bottle. Turns out that I turned it around. So when I squeezed the trigger, wasn't I surprised when the water hit me in the face! I swear I saw Pat gloating on the other side of the room...

Oh... yeah.... just the other day - or rather middle of the night! This darn Buster cat (a.k.a. Pinto) decides at 3 a.m. he wants to be the ONLY cat on Mama's bed and begans pestering Q... somehow in the dark I got the "b-mod bottle" cap turned around

I never had to use the b-mod on Q so got out of practice in the years after dear Xanth left us... Q, `Eowyn and I were a civilized little family haha... Seriously, here's something I found out by accident not long ago: DD and her DH had bought me a can of DustOff compressed air for the new Dell, and I'd bought a can too... so now keep one in each end of the apartment: works great.... and even if you should get it turned around, air is better than water!

But the cat still laughs, I know, even as he runs off - like with the water bottle, he thinks it's a game! So I ask the question, who is modifying whose behavior here?
