Emergency Help!

I woke up to my 7 y.o. cat being sick - he has vomited 3-4 times during the night (digested dry cat food - no strange colors or mucous). There is a large amount of dry cat food missing, but it is more than I have ever seen him eat. I'm not sure if he is constipated (other cat in house & I haven't been paying attention if he is using the litterbox or not). Stomache feels fine, no fever etc. He is new to this house by 1 week and at his old house he used to get wet food in addition to dry food. Could he really have freaked out and gorged? Is the new food upseting his system? Is he constipated? I don't know what to do - can't afford a vet visit at all

Does he seem fine otherwise? Ideally a cat should have their food changed slowly....yes he could have eaten too much too quickly...in addition, if he was not use to the food it could have bothered his digestive system. But if he has never thrown up like this before I would have him at the vet ASAP. It may be nothing but a food issue, but you don't want to take any chances. I understand money being an issue, but your cat depends on you to take care of him and make sure he is well.

Just wanted to update - Ralphie was all better the next day except for a very large hairball. We are thinking it was altitude sickness or something. Anyways, thanks for the help
