Not really a health problem...but maybe...poop

Biscotti has been rolling in it. Never did before, but now it is 2-3 times a week. Out comes the hose and shampoo, and I got a pooper scooper and will use it. Is there a health reason she may be doing this?

Do you do scoop-duty in your yard faithfully?

I don't know whose poop it is, with 3 dogs...we have dog door and I don't watch closely.

We used to mow 2x week and water regularly, and that took care of it well, but we are in a drought and can't do that...guess that answers my question pretty much...a change.

I asked DH to come with me tonight just to help me find poop to pick up...I thought he was going to toss his cookies...LOl.... Sure is easy mowing on a riding lawn mower and thinking you are taking care of things that way!

Doubtful of a health problem, as you say, probably misses the watered lawn.

They can do some pretty disgusting things, can't they!

Yep i think the same as traci, misses that watered lawn. What dogs will do for a laugh i swear! well a laugh for them becuase i bet they dont care if they smell but we do LOL

I would have a care will bathing alot though so try to get poop up fast so he doesnt roll in it.

poop patrol....I know of a family...BIG family...with lots of BIG dogs...and twice a week the younger kids (but old enough to pick up poop) go out into the yard with surgical gloves and a bag...they look at it or feel it and if it is dry enough, they pick it up and put it in the bag, if not, it stays there until the next day to go out...

our dogs, especially Sammie...love to find the stinky places along the roadside as we walk and scrooch to his heart's content
