If the invoice only stated "injection", this doesn't tell you much of anything. Was it SQ or IV, was it an anesthetic agent, antibiotic, or ?

FWIW, the vet (or receptionist, upon checking the patient out) really should be describing the charges to you).

Sealant? My kid has them - they cover the surface of the teeth to prevent cavities (what a great invention!). I don't know if it's the same for canine treatment, but hey, why not?

It was an antiobiotic injection. I am not overly concerned as her teeth are in good health.

Not sure how to say this, but I thought the topic might bring some conversation as well as education....oh well...I missed that one.

Well, sorry if I misunderstood you, I thought you were trying to figure out why one vet did different procedures than the other, and why the invoices were also different. Only the vet can answer those questions.

AAHA approved does not really meant too much other that the facilties etc are up to certain standards and they may have different continuing education requirements..

I never apoplied for AAHA cause i had physical likitation of my building and I could do the same surgery, same proceedures etc-etc...but did not want to rebuild..if I had something I could not handle I would wsend it to an AAHA place...burt our procedures or treatments were basically the same..

That's all right with me - but if we promise not to use it, could we find out what it means?
