Greetings;
I have a kitten just over 3 months old, she has recently begun to vomit, i know of two incidents for certain (just meaning i cant say for sure she hasnt vomited somehwere that i have not discovered). The first was mostly clear, the second was greenish and looked to contain bits of her dry cat food. I know this is not a pleasent topic, but i am a new cat owner and i dont know enough to know if i should be a little worried, very worried, or if this is something that she will just do now and again. She certainly is not acting any differently, which i assume she would if she were ill or in pain. Just a few minutes ago she went through what i can only describe as a "dry" vomit, much as a human might dry heave. I post this to ask if there are any obvious reasons that im overlooking, there are no chemicals that are not secured in the house, so i cannot think what she might be injesting other then kitten food and some cat grass. I plan to get her into the vet as soon as i can sceduale it.
Concern for my kitten
Re: Concern for my kitten
Good idea to have her checked out but our cat, Ruby, routinely eats grass and vomits - usually on the living room rug. The dry heaving you mentioned could simply be your cat trying to throw up a hair ball. Ruby has trouble doing this for some reason and heaves for quite awhile before bringing it up.
Like I said, though, it's always good to have your vet take a look see, for peace of mind at least.

Re: Concern for my kitten
About a week ago, you were talking about a house-plant, we told you to not allow the kittens access to house-plants...so, have you put the plants out of their reach?
What are you feeding them?
Frequent vomiting episodes in a young kitten isn't normal, you need to get her examined by your vet promptly, and discuss their diet, etc. If you still have plants around the house, get rid of them or put them out of harm's way!
