My cat Brady is two years old and ever since taking him off Kitten food we haven't had a one steady type of food for him. Recently we started feeding him Maxximum Nutrition Indoor Formula as he seems to like it. However for about the past 10 days he has been vomiting about once a day. It is almost always undigested food but he hasn't lost any weight and his personality hasn't changed at all, he is very active, plays fetch and is extremely outgoing for a cat so he never really seems sick. We have also recently bought one of those self feeders where you fill up the food bin once and it keeps his food dish full so he can eat whenever he wants. We also moved about a month ago and he didn't seem to happy about the move so I'm wondering if that may have something to do with it.
I was unable to get a vet appointment for another week so any suggestions or help would be really appreciated.

is this a dry cat food ?and has he always been on a dry cat food? because if you have changed the diet in that way that could be a definate contribution to this.

It could be the food, but you probably should have him seen by your vet. My old cat threw up consistently on a certain brand of food. When I changed the food, his vomiting stopped.
You might try Iams Adult Formula or Hill's Science Diet Adult Formula (as were recommended to me for my new kitty by Traci
). These are both good foods that may not upset his stomach as much because the nutrients are precisely balanced. If you do change food, be sure to introduce the new food very slowly over the course of a week or so.
You can find Iams at most grocery stores and maybe even at Wal-Mart.
Science Diet is sold at pet-food stores like Petco, Petsmart and Pet Supplies Plus.

Constantly switching foods is inappropriate for cats, they need to be on a consistent, high quality cat food. Iams or Hill's are good choices. The foods you've been feeding could be low quality and have ingredients in them that your kitty is reacting to.
Get your kitty to your vet promptly for a thorough exam, since you moved and noted he "wasn't happy", you need to rule out hidden health problems (for example, moving is the number one cause of stress in cats and can lead to liver problems, this needs to be ruled out immediately).
