I hope not either...I am thinking it is becuase of how it was laying and formed in the womb....but he will check it for sure and if that is the case, maybe therapy and working it will eventually get it to straighten out...

4.2 ounces converts to abuot 119 grams, so it is on track for feeding with the 1.5 teaspoons every 2 hours!
Foot is from the way it formed and therapy will help that, so I will work that when we feed

Mompaws...that is a feral kitten who would not let us get close to her...that picture was the closest I ever got and luckily for me, I had the camera outside that day...we found her on the highway a few days later 
That is by far the WORST thing about these darned ferals I get attached to and living so close to a major roadway...they just do not learn to stay away from it...
We took her body out back...we do not bury the feral cats....I know thier souls are no longer with their body, they are free forever now....so we just lay the body to rest out back near the stream and know that it will be food for some critter still living...it may sound yucky to some...but I figure, why let it's life go to waste and its death be for naught...sort of like donating organs, I guess...let its death be of some good to another...

Baby kitten is doing great...loves laying right on top of the water bottle after i refresh it with hot water, so I really make sure it is tucked in good and that the towel is shoved down into the area around the neck of the bottle...I looked in earlier today at work to find it had gone head doen into the space between the corner of the box and the neck of the bottle....got it out of there really fast and rearanged things a bit!!
It drank almost 2 teaspoons of formula earlier and made a nice little poop
It's second poop today!!
And it purrrrrrsssss....I could actually hear it while holding it on mylap this evening...but I prefer holding it up to my cheek and letting it nuzzle my face and ear....
It's not spoiled
I am hoping that by having it at work with me, I will find it a good forever home somewhere...lots of elderly alone people come in everyday....maybe someone will become attached to the library cat...hahahha....if I were the director there already (someday) it would stay the library cat and just live there all the time when old enough....

I wish we lived closer too...then the baby would have a mama to go to when it was old enough....or a mama to care for it not if she wanted to...

Yes. Someday I am going to get a kitten. I think would be too much for Honey right now..you know, older dog who needs to rest her hip and youngin who wants to play.

Baby is doing well still...a bit lethargic this evening when I last fed, but it had been sleeping, and was quite active while feeding, pottied then was just kinda cranky...but then, our heat index is 103 and we have no AC...it is in a box in the bathroom, of couse with a hot water bottle and teddy bear...but I make sure that the air is not stifling in there either...
I will go check on it again soon just to be sure it is sleeping peacefully...
I have noticed lastnight and today taht it likes belly rubs After going potty it likes to play and roll around in my lap or hands...on my lap it has been turning over, then flaying its front paws in the air, purrrring the entire time, I thought something was wrong the first time it did it, so hurried and picked it up and held it upright, but then it rolled in my hands and rubbed its head against my thumb and grabbed at my fingers...so I rubbed its belly and chest and it just relaxed and laid there purrrrring....when it had enough, it pushed my fingers away and rolled back over again...
funny little thing...I have never had a kitten do that before...

I took our cat Cuddles in there with me this evening....she has never had a litter (as far as we know, but we got her as an adult)...but she is our "Mothering Cat"...and as soon as she even heard a little mewl in the box, she chirped and laid down on her side on the towel I had put on the floor in front of the bathtub...hahaha...I put the baby nex to her and she proceeded to give it a bath and nuzzled it...so I ended up resting the bottle of formula on her side as the baby kneaded and eventually found it and sucked on the bottle while kneading against Cuddles...I did not have the camera for that one...
