Underbite

Post by Cindy »

My 2 year old terrier mix has a noticeable underbite. I was told this may cause more tartar buildup than an aligned mouth. Is this true, and are there any other problems associated with an underbite?

Someone else will answer that, but all I know is it's probably cute as heck.

I agree with Momspaw, it probably is cute and as long as you keep an eye on it and check the teeth for tarter build up it should be no problems...dogs cope with these things...I bet your pup will never look in a mirror and say a few explatives...you could also be shownhow to brush, but the main things is just check it about every 3 or 4 months

awwww he must be a cutie. Brush the teeth well everyday and like Davet said keep an eye on it to make sure there is no problems with feeding or geting worse.

I just got her Thursday, I think she will allow me to brush her teeth, and yes, she is adorable! Thanks!
