A warm welcome to ... as yet un-named
Hi Everyone,
A few weeks ago in the blistering dubai summer sun i saw a tiny kitten race across our garage to eat from the bowl of food that we leave out for the TNR's.
I tried for two days to figure out where she was hiding when she wasn't eating. I eventually tracked her down to the car. And then finally to the engine!
After 4 hellishly hot hours of trying to lure her out i managed to ger her into a box. She was sick with the flu, emaciated, and all scratched up from some sort of fight that she had been in with one of the bigger cats.
My heart totally broke when while i was trying to trap her, she wandered off and started eating these tiny pieces of food that had been on the drive way for a day or so.... (gardener is clearly not doing his job)
Anyway...................
She's all fixed up and has turned out to be the most affectionate little critter ever. She's also getting along well with the rest of the clan...
Can't think of a name for her though.....
I thought of Pixie, but that somehow doesn't suit her that well anymore.....
any suggestions?

What a happy ending, great story!!
She's soooo cute and looks like a gem! Maybe give her a name of a precious stone? I just named one of my saves who turned out to be an absolute sweetheart, Ruby.

She's so cute! How about Tinkerbell

I'd just call her Precious, because she is!
Or Miri, short for miracle.

Very attractive girl! I love survivors - one can tell she is strong, smart, crafty and full of personality Congratulations on your much-deserved success.
An Arabic/Persian fairy is "peri" (tilde ~ over the i but this keyboard won't do it) and it is akin to "pairika" (also w/tilde over final a) which is Persian for sorceress... Looks like either would suit this beautiful youngster.

She IS adorable...bless you for rescuing her!
I think no matter what name she picks, it will be perfect

Well it has been decided by fate.
I have these little toys that i make out of cat hair.... hard to explain but basically you can make a perfect round ball that rattles if you wrape a loosely packed clump of cat hair (collected from my zoom groom) around a bell.... hard to explain but the cats LOVE it!
anyway....
my as yet unnamed kitty carried one down from upstairs and plonked it on the couch next to me....
i didn't think much of it until she picked it up and carried it to a corner and then brought back.... that was a little weird... then she did it again....
so i thought i'd help her out and throw it for her.... and then she brought it back....
we have now repeated the process over 20 times...
she's fetcher! just like diesel the cat DH wanted to name her after because they had similar histories and they have really loud purrs and they both played fetch!
