LOL... Funny but not as funny as what it caused here! I am trying to "learn" my new Dell notebook, which is in process of being installed [hate it so far but that's a whole other story] Anyway, daughter and son-in-law visited again last night to redo some stuff and install Photo Shop etc. I got another friendly lecture re at least trying to adapt to this umpteen hundred $$$, slippy-slidey, tricky little monster... So, being a dutiful mamasan, I am working on it...

Pinto was sleeping on the bed here in the room where I have my desk set up; Q was somewhere else in the apartment, probably also asleep... I log in to the Board, see the post here and immediately check the clip out... not knowing how to control the volume:shock: it is very LOUD (the tenant above me must be away - otherwise s/he would probably have banged on the floor with whatever the H[ouston] it is s/he employs for this...I think maybe it's a posthole digger...)

Instantly - like a cat in a cartoon - Pinto sits up and looks around, with an alarmed look on his face, and Q comes trotting in, MEOWing his bossy, "What the H[ouston] is going on? WHY are you bringing MORE cats into my space?!" Then - even after I've shut the clip off - they both keep prowling around looking for the intruders... Until finally I break out the treats and convince them the danger is past.

They've both gone to the living room to continue their naps. I'm tempted to play the clip again - but guess I'll save it for some time when I'm even more bored than I am this afternoon... Thanks Tambrey!

This is great too, Tambrey !

I have a friend who had an Airedale named Bogart. Steve would hold up a dog bone and ask Bogart if he wanted one. Bogie sat down and said as plain as day "I want one".... always good for an amazed laugh no matter how many times I witnessed it.
