how sad that Sessa was fed like that...she looks like such a sweetheart...I am glad that she was rescued and that someone is able and willing to help her...maybe there does need to be a law created including overfeeding to be illegal as well...if a dog is underfed, then the owners are charged with neglect...right?...

Beer and donuts?? Why would anyone do that to an animal? What did they think would happen? If a human eats only beer and donuts, the same thing... man, that's sad. I'm glad she's being rehabbed, though. Seems like she's getting plenty of love now.

I had a couple clients who thought it was funny to get their dog drunk...Two of them almost died...I reported them to the SPCA but don;t know if anything was done about it

Not that I think it was funny, okay, so we could not help but laugh at the time...

but many many years ago, I had a wonderful yellow lab mix named Bryn...he was a puppy and my (then) husband had left a glass of rum and coke on the floor beside the couch when he went to bed...Bryn drank it :( of course, we did not know til the next morning when we found the glass empty and poor Bryn laying on the floor with his paws crossed over his head and pieced it all together...

To his last days, any time he smelled rum, he would bark at the glass and curl his lips and run away from it...
