well after a few days of watching Ranger's tummy with the freckle like spots on it, we made an appt. at the vet. A day before we were to go, I tried to "pick" a freckle off and guess what? It came off. Turns out they appeared to be scabs from perhaps running over a pricker bush at the park or something. They are all almost gone and boy didn't I feel like an idiot!. Thanks for your ideas- so glad it didn't turn out to be any of them!

idiot if you ignored them if they had turned out to be petichia or some other exciting thing you would have been most unhappy at ignoring them...when in doubt, question, don't ignore
