pic of Pinto, jr cat [maybe]
pic of Pinto, jr cat [maybe]
This is a test - I have just about had it with all these unnecessary changes DD [and others] come up with... why couldn't I just have a pic copied so I could put it in jpg and then on my picture trails acct???
Re: pic of Pinto, jr cat [maybe]
You cannot post a picture from an email. Save the pic to a folder on your pc, then upload it to your picturetrail account. They should have instructions on the site how to copy url's of your uploaded photos.

Thanks Traci - I did not realize it was an email: the pics Nan sent me are in something called ShowLetter... and on my ancient MacOS9.2 can only be opened as URLs - they cannot be downloaded to desktop, so I cannot put them in my picturetrail account albums... Nan and I have been hashing this over all day... looks like she is going to have to come over and help me install my new printer/scanner/copier and see if we can't get me able to post pics again... I am in the process of upgrading my whole 'puter system but haven't made the final decision on whether to stay with Apple or go with Dell...
On Thursday 9 February the vet clinic informed me `Eowyn's ashes had arrived. Quite calmly, I placed the little casket on Win's seat in my minivan, buckled the seatbelt around it (and there it stayed for nearly a week.) I then drove directly to a PetsMart to make a donation in her memory... and somehow ended up getting a beautiful young cat. So far this is mostly a success for Q and me, as well as for the new fellow... whom I've named "Pinto" because he is white with black markings, thus a pinto like a b & w horse (as opposed to "paint" which is the 3 color.)... But I've waited to introduce him until I can resolve this picture downloading problem which has resulted from the move and losing the set-up(s) I had in New Orleans... Please bear with me and excuse my rambling!

Re: pic of Pinto, jr cat [maybe]
If Nan sent you pics in an email, you should be able to LEFT-click on the pictures, select "Save image as", to a folder on your computer (i.e., MyPictures). You can rename the picture if you want to something you can remember, as long as it ends with ".jpg" (or .gif, etc, whatever the original format is).
The picture will then be in the folder you selected on your computer. Then upload that to the picturetrail site.
If the pictures in the email were links to the picture, check your email program for something like "download image"....if there is such a link, click on it, a picture should then show up for you, or an option for you to "save" to a folder on your computer (as described above).
