They attempted to break into the residence at 2905 Sherwood Drive in Laplace, LA 70068 at 18:00 hours today. They were trapped in the Garage and aprehended with no problems.

Both are now serving time at the St. John Parish Animal Shelter.

They sure picked the wrong house (or was that the right one?) didn't they? I have to assume they belong to one of your neighbors and got out of their house or yard. Any idea where they belong?

I have seen them in the street before a few blocks away, near the former Yuppie Condos that were turned into Section 8 Housing. Not a good area. While generally that is not a good sign. These dogs are well fed, clean and do not appear to have been fought. Neither has had its ears cliped close, an almost sure sign of a fighting dog and neither appears dog aggressive. I have put the word out in the street that they are in the shelter.

they sure are cuties...I hope their good caring home can be found...or one for them...and that they are never trained to fight...oh how I hate when people do that!!

UPDATE the owners have contacted the shelter. Whether or not they will pay the fees to free their pups is another matter.
