Well...I cannot say unusual...but ever since I moved the fridge to its new location, and took the grill off of the front bottom to clean under it, the grill does not like to stay on...even my husband has tried...
anyways...
I heard growling and whining and went looking...there is my Baby Roo with his foot stuck in under the fridge! he was pulling adn trying to get away, but he was stuck, and of course, I could not see under there to see how or where, so we just had to work blindly, then he "popped" out of whatever he was stuck in...literally, there was a popping noise...
Foot is fine...no marks or torn/damaged claws or pads and he is walking fine...but for the life of me, I do not know why he had his foot under there to begin with!!

When I get out of the shower, Izzy HAS to take a dump. If I don't let her in the bathroom right when I turn the water off, she sticks her paw under the door, whines and cries, and flicks the door stopper with her paw.
She's recently developed an affinity for spoons. I always rinse dishes when I put them in the sink, so there's no food attracting her to them. She's just had several spoons out on the floor when I get home from work the last couple of days. Not forks, not knives (I don't leave sharp ones in the sink, just the dull butter knives), not plates. Just spoons.
She'll walk on the back of the couch, put both paws on my shoulder, and meow loudly right in my ear.
She runs across walls and the front of the couch -- the vertical part of it. And she'll launch herself off the back of the couch, arms splayed, pouncing something unseen.
Earlier today, she took a nap on my lap, and she was chewing and smacking her lips in her sleep.
I could go on and on...

Haha... I'd love it if that was all Pat did when he took a nap with me. Instead, he lays there on my legs and chews on my toes!slvrwhispr wrote:Earlier today, she took a nap on my lap, and she was chewing and smacking her lips in her sleep.
The boy's actually got quite a mouth on him... He chews on my feet sometimes. When I don't get up in the morning he nips my nose and ears. If I don't pay enough attention to him when I'm getting ready in the morning he'll bite my arms or chest. Once when I was getting ready for a shower I bent over and he nibbled me on the behind!
He's also got a thing for my shoelaces. I'm always spraying him because he's chewing on those. I've replaced the laces in my tennis shoes twice already, and right now I've got a random knot holding them together.
And anytime I wear pajama pant with drawstrings I have to tuck them inside or he won't leave me alone. Same with drawstrings for hooded sweatshirts and such.
He actually did something really crazy last night... He crawled up into the keyboard shelf of my desk, then back and down into the cupboard below (there's a small gap way at the back behind the keyboard shelf. The only problem was that there wasn't much stuff in the cupboard, so he couldn't get up high enough to crawl back out. So I woke up at 2 am with him howling because he was stuck in the cupboard of my desk! Now I've put a box in there so he can get back out if he goes in again.
This is the same cat that removed the drain stopper from my bathroom sink, climbs ladders, opens the shower door on me...
I swear I own the world's most annoying cat!

I got a new laptop yesterday. I put the one box inside the other and stuck it in the middle of the floor, then threw all of Izzy's toys in it. She's been playing and climbing and batting toys around in the box. It's cracking me up.

Sean and I are watching the Red Wings hockey game... and the cat keeps jumping at the TV, trying to catch the hockey players.
Good cat! VERY good cat!

hmmm... I'm watching the game, too. I hope you're cat's going after the Colorado players, because I'm partial to the Red Wings.
My boys sometimes go after the TV. Right now one's sleeping and the other two are playing with those little mice. I just got home from the pet store and bought some new ones, so they're all excited! Of course, the dumb boys, even though I gave one to each, insist on fighting each other to play for the same mouse, leaving one just sitting there in the middle of the room.

Topper used to to something like that during the NASCAR races. She'd sit at the corner of the TV (we had a console back then), and smack at the cars as they came into the corner. Now she sits on the back of the couch watching the races.slvrwhispr wrote:Sean and I are watching the Red Wings hockey game... and the cat keeps jumping at the TV, trying to catch the hockey players....:

Ah - but that's half the fun - seeing who can get it away from the other!! Just like kids!kehorner wrote:even though I gave one to each, insist on fighting each other to play for the same mouse, leaving one just sitting there in the middle of the room.

Hrmmmm... my boy Gunner likes to chew on packing tape. When I moved to my new house he was practically opening the boxes for me.
Taylor will spaz every once in a while and jump around like he is chasing something. He also has these little stuffed animals from Target's dollar section that he likes to carry around in his mouth like a dog. He will throw them around and chase them. Sometimes he takes them upstairs to the loft, drops them, and comes running downstairs after them. LOL
My ex girlfriend had a kitten that would jump from the loft to the first floor. If I saw him creeping down like he was going to jump I'd go underneath him and he'd jump into my arms. It was sooooo cute.
