Some miscellanious pictures

Post by TheSkeptic »

A seasonal picture a king cake. When we were younger we would go to king cake parties.

Here is the baby. The bakers used to put the baby in the cake so no one would know were it was at. Whoever got the baby, threw the next party. Nowadays they have to reduce their liability by making the purchaser put the baby in if they want. The beads are lagniappe.

HEre is a picture of one of our pet toys. With few exceptions, the toys around here don't last too long. Some time ago I posted on the seemingly indestructible woobie that finally bit the dust. Now there is Pea Pod's "Bar bell" she carries around the house.

I was going to take a picture of just the bar bell, but Pea Pod objected.

Today was a beautiful day after several rainy days. I was off and the dogs and I were outside most of the day. Even Prissy, Inky and Dottie, who usually go outside for a few minutes then go back to their couch spent a good deal of time outside.

I took a lot of pictures inside and out. Got a few decent shots. I wonder what Apache was thinking when I took this one.

I love this shot of Pea Pod and Bernie playing.

At one point we had some high winds. The dogs sat around with their faces into the wind. Ivory looks almost neat in this picture.

Ginger was being thoughtfull. It is hard to beleive she just turned 11 last November.

Ok another wind blown Ivory picture. (Really like this shot.)

Bernie resting from his activities. Another shot I really like.

Finally a picture of Prince. I had a perfectly normal picture until I pressed the shutter.

Lovely pics as always. I love the picture of Prince - shows much more character than the 'normal' one you tried to get. It's supposed to be breezy here today too. If I can get one, I'll put in a 'Windblown Sheltie' pic to go along with Ivory's.

Thank you for sharing such cute pics Skeptic!

That facial shot of Apache looks so much like our Casey. I need to email you a pic of Casey. I keep forgetting. I do think you would agree she looks like one or more of yours.
