They do they craziest things!

Post by kehorner »

So I woke up this morning to find a strange object sitting on my bedroom floor. Upon further inspection, I realized that it was the stopper part of the bathroom sink, which one (or more...) of my boys had removed from the drain during the night. I'm not even sure if i could remove the stupid thing if I tried! It's certainly going to take some effort to put back... I guess I've got some talented cats.

Izzy managed to open the cardboard box our new crock pot came in. It was the kind with the tabs and the folds and everything, not just a simple box. I discovered that she figured it out when I woke up this morning and she was covered in styrofoam bits she had scratched off of the protective packaging. I sure hope she didn't eat any of it. I never would have imagined that she would be able to open a box that took ME five minutes to get open!

I still have not found the little palstic thing we keep in the bathroom sink to keep things from falling down it...Tiglet is the culprit, I know she is, because I have caught her lifting it out with one claw in the past...but I have no idea what she has done with it this time...and it took forever to find one that fits the sink, and is easy to clean out, and I have noooo idea where we got it at!!

Yup... my boys like to steal the stainless steel potscrubber sponge off the kitchen counter. I've found it all the way in my bedroom closet at the other end of the house.

Ohhhh yes, the scrubber! I've found a whole stash of shiny things in Izzy's kitty condo in the morning... LOL. They certainly are sneaky. I put a breakaway collar with a bell on Izzy yesterday so she doesn't have the ability to sneak-pounce me anymore.

Edit: I had to share this story; it was just SO cute. I went looking for Izzy, since I hadn't seen her in a couple of hours. She's sleeping on my pillow. So I went and curled up on the bed next to her, layed my head right next to hers. She rolled over on her back, gently head-butted me, then stood up, nuzzled my face, and licked my nose. She's so adorable!

I just had to come and post my good news!!

I was sweeping in the dining room, and swept under the printer stand...got lots of cat hair, as usual...but something else...I looked closer, and it is the plastic insert for the drain in the bathroom :D
From upstairs at one end of the house, to the next floor down at the other end...go figure!!
