I wonder if you could get some KMR weaning formula and make a paste of it for him...it is formulated after mother's milk, but makes a pasty gruel...it is about $8 or $9 a can, but a can of the powder for one kitten would last a while...and you can water it down a bit more as well...

i got him some heartz formula. made for kittens, it's kinda orangy and looks almost like egg nog. a tiny can only costs like $3. he likes it a little. i don't give him too much cause i don't wanna upset his stomache. but at least he's getting some nutrients. i give him like a couple teaspoons a day.

that is good...just be careful...the thing about canned premade formula is that it is really only good for 24 hours if kept in the fridge...that is why I like the powder mix...you make only what you need, and it will keep for I think 3 months in the fridge!
Maybe try taht the next time..it can be gotten at a pet store

good news! when i woke up this morning, the kitten was up and about! i mean he wasn't running around, but he wasn't laying down. he was just sitting in the middle of the living room waiting for someone to get up. so i could tell he was hungry, and i gave him a few teaspoons of babyfood, then i tried giving him some normal canned kitten food and he ate a little! not much though so i didn't want to force him. then he ate like 4 more teaspoons of baby food.

he seems much more alert and active today. cleaning himself and scratching on things. he was even kind of playing with the other cat today. i'll keep you posted!

that is good news...I am so glad he is doing better...

scratching on things....show him now where the scratching post is, or wherever it is acceptable for him to scratch, elsewise, he wil scratch at your furniture forever...and when you get new furniture, believe me, you will not appreciate that!!

Forget the Hartz, and only get KMR kitten formula, it is the most appropriate formula for kittens, and is properly formulated, no other formula can match it's quality.

Beware of ALL Hartz products....while the following link contains information about topical flea applications for pets, I'd apply it to ANY Hartz product and any over-the-counter products,....always play it safe and use ONLY what your vet recommends!

Just Say No (to Hartz and other over-the-counter products).
