These are my best pictures as far as numbers, from my fostering days. I think the most I had in my house at once was 21 at one time (in my 3 bedroom, 1100 square foot home...). I'm done with the fostering for a while. I'm just fine with my 3 boys. I'd love to have more, but I don't have the time or money right now. :(

Now, names are a little bit of a problem, since this was a year ago... Starting from the left on top of the couch... Pepper and Spook, the two black ones, along with Brush. Then Brush's brother Hush (who ever read the book "The Color Kittens?"). Then Pyewackie on the right and his brother (can't remember the name) on the seat, who were brothers to the two girls on the other end. Those little black kittens were such a problem... I ended up getting colored collars so I could tell them apart!

Here's my largest group that ever sat for a picture, with seven. Yes, they did have other food bowls, but these were the only two bowls with adult food in them, which explains why all the kittens are eating it... The calico on the left is Faith, the black one Mario, the Russian Blue is Gracie, the white one on top of her is Bleach, the gray and white is Samantha, and the two tabbies are Theo and Tabitha. Gracie, Samantha, Theo, Tabitha, Mario, and Captain Hook were my first six fosters, so they were special. (And we all know where Captain Hook ended up...)

hahaha...actually Ash...a couple of the cats are BIGGER than Sammie...they all get along great and I often find them curled up all together...of course, as soon as I try to sneak a pic, someone wakes up and leaves...

Yup, those idiots hear the camera come on and turn over and open their eyes and wander around... Ruining a perfectly good picture. I had an amazing one lined up once. Mom laying in the middle and her four siamese babies forming a perfect little 3-sided box around her head. Of course, kittens are easily distracted, and all got up before I got the picture.

But sometimes they do the little squirming stretch right when they wake up, and get even cuter. Pat in the laundry basket was just curled up in the first picture, but then he woke up and stretched and got much cuter in the second picture (the one I posted above). I absolutely love my digital camera for taking cat pics, because usually only 1 in 10 are any good anyway.
