Thank you...He is very pretty, I call him my "Booootiful Boy"...and he is yet another rescue...
when my son was 5 or 6, he was at a friend's house and this little furry kitten tried to walk in the door...it was winter...lots of snow...yucky weather...and they picked up this kitten by the tail and threw him half way across the yard into a snowdrift...
my son ran over and picked him up and yelled at them that he was taking that cat home to his mommy and they were not ever going to see him again!
Gump had some bruising and strains, but turned out fine, as you can tell...but he has such a whiny little voice for a big cat...hahaha...I never hear him meow, but he will do a high pitched whine when he is mad or upset at another cat or wants attention...

Karen...I am sure that if he were human he would be mortified...hahaha...I had another cat that when he got into the catnip....and it grows wild everywhere around here, so I can gather and dry it fresh, or they just love up to my feet and legs after doing yardwork...
anyways...Tigger would also lounge around like that...after he barreled through the house for 15 minutes...Gump however, he just goes to sleep...

Today we went to PetSmart for the grand opening...we took Sammie, Sophia and Snoozy to visit and get pictures taken...Sophia and Snoozy rode together in a cart and Sammie was a good boy and trotted along beside DH...
Well, we were waiting in line for pictures, and DH told Sammie he was being such a good boy...the woman in front turned around and looked at Sammie, and bent down and said her sister had a daschshund that she had to give to the Humane Society a little over a year ago (because they got hardwood floors and Sammie was ruining them)...we got to talking and determined that he sister gave Sammie away, he was adopted by the guy we got him from, and was on his way back to the Humane Society (because that guy and his wife had a mremie baby at home and no time for Sammie) when we met up at Petco and got Sammie from that guy before he ever got to the Humane Society....
So we met the sister os Sammie's previous previous owner...
Sammie remembered her and her daschshund as well and was all over them giving kisses...
She said she actually has his picture as her computer desktop and she would e-mail it to me...
