my vet isn't available till next week and i need help
My 3 year old male Siamese is in heat but he is eating and grooming himself. Only thing i noticed is that there are times when he is breathing really fast. But after, he gets some sleep, his breathing returns to normal. I'm worried. It's a holiday here, and the vet won't be available till next week. Please help.

Male cats do not go "into heat", only unspayed females go into heat.
What is he doing before or at the times he is breathing fast? Exercising? Playing? Or? Can you determine if it is from rigorous play/exercise, or if occurs when he is relaxed? Is the environment unusually hot?
If this has occured more than once, or persists, you need to get him seen by a vet, and evaluated completely.
