I'm sorry to hear about Tommy but am glad that he at least has someone looking out for his well being. I hope Traci can give you better answers about teh bloodwork and meds, but I just wanted to say that even though he appears to be feeing a bit better,I would still encourage a visit to another vet to have him thoroughly checked out...including xrays I would think. I hope he continues to improve.

Well, while the CBC results may be "normal", doesn't mean skeletal problems shouldn't be taken into account and addressed!
Weak, non-functional back legs can indicate nearly anything from a blunt-forced trauma to a heart problem, such as a blood clot...only a competent vet can determine this. X-rays are needed NOW, to rule out fractures or inflammation possibly viewable from a clot. The possibilities are endless and I can only guess....new vet please, and immediately.
